2.1 Anonymous Authentication

The app uses Firebase Authentication with anonymous sign-in. A random user ID may be created without asking for your name or email.

2.2 Usage Data and Analytics

We collect usage data via Google Analytics 4 (Firebase Analytics), such as:

• Screens / pages viewed
• Puzzles started/completed and difficulty selections
• Technical events and errors for app stability
• Subscription events (for example paywall views and purchases)

The website operates under Google Consent Mode v2. By default, before you respond to the cookie banner, only anonymous measurement signals are sent — no cookies, no persistent identifier — for aggregate traffic counting only. If you accept, full measurement runs with cookies and a browser-stored analytics ID (client_id). If you decline, collection is disabled.

If we enable Google Signals on our Analytics property in the future, usage data from visitors who are signed into a Google account with Ads Personalization turned on may be associated with Google's information about those accounts (such as aggregated demographics, interests, and cross-device measurement). We adhere to the Google Advertising Features Policy and do not use Analytics to target sensitive categories (health, religion, sexual orientation, etc.).

• View and delete associated Google activity at My Activity
• Turn off Ads Personalization at Google Ads Settings
• Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
• Email us to request data deletion

2.3 Puzzle Content and Progress

Puzzle content and user progress may be stored via Firebase services (for example Cloud Firestore) to support app functionality.

2.4 Locally Stored Data

• User preferences (for example language/font/app settings)
• Cache and temporary files for performance
• Local progress data used by the app

3. Information We Do Not Directly Request

The app does not require users to enter name, email address, or phone number inside the app itself.

4. Permissions

• Internet - to load content, sync data, and access cloud services
• Billing (Android) - to support subscriptions and in-app purchases

5. Third-Party Services

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Functions)
• Google Play / Apple App Store for purchase processing

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by app stores. Payment details are handled by those stores and are not stored on our servers.

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers only to operate the app.

Local app data can be removed by uninstalling the app. Cloud data is retained according to the configuration and retention settings of the services we use.
